• Octopus caters to a wide mix of guests, some who are traveling around the world for many months and are budget conscious, as well as families and couples who have planned a special getaway to Fiji, its one of the things that truly makes Octopus special.

    The options below are aimed at the long term traveler or family on a budget.

    We offer a 10% discount on the room rates for stays of 7 days or more, there is a two night minimum stay.  There is a compulsory meal plan which is $44 USD per Adult and $29 per child (3 – 10 yrs) which covers breakfast, lunch and dinner each day.

    Dorm Room  – $26.00 per night single occupancy.
    We’re often told that our single bed dormitories are the best in Fiji. Our three 5 – 7 bed dorms are well lit and have daily service. They are single beds (no bunks) with a quality pillow, mosquito net, bedside table, individual reading lamp and two of the three are air-conditioned.Dorm beds are supplied with daily towels including a separate beach towel on a daily basis.Bedding configuration: Single bed

    Private Bungalow – $105 per night double occupancy.
    We have six private bungalows the perfect rest stop for couples on the move. Surrounded by tropical gardens with individual balconies, this is the ideal way to balance privacy with budget. Each has a large comfortable queen bed, ceiling fan and uses the shared dormitory bathroom facilities.Maximum occupancy: 2 person/s

    Garden Bure – $149 per night double occupancy.
    These rooms are located in our beautiful tropical gardens still just a few short steps to the beach.They are traditional Fijian grass huts with a modern twist. You’ll love our open roofed showers, they of course are completely private but offer that back to nature feel by being able to gaze up at the tree’s, blue sky or stars.The rooms are cooled by a ceiling fan. The bures are serviced daily by our lovely housekeeping team. In addition to our fluffy bath towels we also provide fresh beach towels each day for our guests.Maximum occupancy: 5 person/s
    Bedding configuration: All bures have a queen size and single bed. There is more than enough room to add another single bed or a crib for an infant. We offer baby cribs for no extra charge.    		 Garden Bure

     

    Premium Garden Bure – $160 per night double occupancy.
    These rooms are a little more luxury, they are traditional Fijian grass huts with a modern twist. These rooms have lovely private outdoor garden bathrooms with our signature open air showers, and a balcony out the front with some comfy chairs.The rooms are cooled by a ceiling fan. The bures are serviced daily by our lovely housekeeping team. In addition to our fluffy bath towels we also provide fresh beach towels each day for our guests.Maximum occupancy: 5 person/s
